Partnerships and collaborations

Climate change impacts are affecting all of us. We need as much experience, knowledge and expertise as possible to help identify how best to increase resilience and adapt. By working together through informal collaborations or more formal partnership arrangements we can pool knowledge, share resources, address difficult challenges and make sure that adaptation plans and actions are based on transparent, just and accountable decision making processes.

Starting to work with others to understand and address adaptation challenges does not have to be complicated. It could be as simple as holding an Are We Ready? workshop in your community, or picking up the phone and speaking to colleagues working on adaptation in partner organisations.

Our partnership projects provide lots of examples of partnership working in action across Scotland. Take a look at these for ideas and inspiration and get in touch if you’d like to find out more.
